Ottman Named General Manager

KENT, OH – (Feb. 17, 2009)  R.W. Martin & Sons, Inc. has promoted Chip Ottman to General Manager, a position in which he will be responsible for the sales and operations of the business. “Chip has been a key part of our success, and we are pleased that he has accepted this important position,” said Shawn Martin, President.  “Today’s promotion is a result of the respect Chip has earned from his peers, our customers, and business partners; and his significant contributions to the organization,” he adds.

In 2005, after managing product line sales for a leading manufacturer of continuous processing ovens and machinery, Ottman joined Martin as an Inside Sales Account Manager.  He was responsible for customer relationships and business development in key markets representing Martin’s Stoneman Pre-Owned Machinery, O-zone Solutions, and related allied products and services. He quickly rose to Operations Manager.

Part of Ottman’s task will be to build upon the successes of R.W. Martin’s Stoneman line, SignatureService Scheduled Maintenance programs, O-zone Solutions Systems, and Process Water Solutions.

A business major from Wittenberg University, Ottman seems to have found his career niche. “From day one at R.W.
