Warehouse Parking Lot Reclaimation Completed

RAVENNA, OH -- Excavation and grading work was recently completed to reclaim an asphalt parking area that was constructed for the former foundry. The hard surface is being returned to open grass fields to improve site drainage, and ultimately reduce storm sewer utility surcharges. As part of this reclamation work, a three-story silo tower originally used to store silicate sand was dismantled and removed from the site. This phase also included demolition of a 3,000 s.f. storage structure, and a smaller gas utility house. Renovation work will continue during the Fall as weather permits.
