Full Service Rebuilding Shop Serves Industry

R.W. Martin provides remanufacturing services for many types of plant equipment and machinery components for the industrial laundry and process industries… and all jobs start with a thorough high-pressure cleaning. Our extensive range of equipment and experienced personnel enables us to return virtually any late-model machine or component to its original specifications, from washer extractors, deep-chest flatwork ironers, spreader feeders, both small and large piece folders, and material handling equipment to industrial water heaters, pump sets, and water storage tanks.
Simply stated, the R.W. Martin remanufacturing process is comprehensive and easy.
- A Martin technician thoroughly examines your machine, and then provides a written proposal for the remanufacture.
- The machine is dismantled in our shop to the extent necessary to determine the condition of its components, and then cleaned and made free from rust and corrosion.
- All assemblies and components are inspected for wear and all missing, defective, broken or substantially worn parts are either restored to sound, functionally good condition, or they are replaced with new or remanufactured parts as required.
- Prior to reassembly all the individual machine components are painted and allowed to dry to assure proper refinishing under all items fastened to the machine, and that new parts installed are not being painted over in the process. You specify the paint color of your choice.
- After reassembly (and often updated controls), all current safety labeling and guard requirements are added.
- The machine is then run-tested to ensure optimum performance.
- Upon receipt of your remanufactured machine, a Martin service representative is available to supervise on-site start up and machine operation.
- Full documentation of the project is provided for your files. All R.W. Martin remanufactured machines come with a limited warranty tailored to your specific needs.
Purchasing new equipment can be expensive. For that reason, remanufacturing your plant equipment makes more sense than ever. Lower initial cost, production capabilities comparable to a new machine, faster delivery than many new machines, and a shorter payback period are just a few of the benefits of having R.W. Martin remanufacture your machinery. Unlike other so-called rebuilders who offer one or two services, R.W. Martin is a full-service provider for the profitable operation and implementation of all your machine improvement objectives.
