Texas Healthcare Laundry Gets New Lint Filter System

South Texas Hill Country - R.W. Martin recently completed the successful turn-key installation of a new automatic dryer lint filtration system for a healthcare laundry located in South Texas. Dennis Yonker, a 27-year Martin team member, supervised the project on-site from delivery to start-up.
The new Energenics filter system services five production dryers utilizing variable air flow technology. The key component of this system is a pressure sensing transducer measuring backpressure at the lint filter allowing the dryers to perform at the manufacturer’s airflow specification. The airflow is always balanced even with dryers cycling on/off at different intervals. The filter is equipped with a booster fan to automatically balance the airflow from the dryers. Actual backpressure is measured utilizing a transducer that sends input signals to the inverter programmed to continually monitor and affect change to booster fan speed maintaining perfect air balance.
