Equipment Reconditioning
Reconditioning is a great way to extend the life of your laundry equipment. At the beginning of this multi-step process, the experts at R.W. Martin will evaluate your machine to assess how much work it will require to reach good operating condition. Before starting work, we will provide you with a detailed estimate for the work.
R.W. Martin has an in-house facility dedicated to equipment reconditioning. We utilize proven operating procedures to ensure consistent and reliable outcomes. Because we value customer satisfaction above all else, our technicians can also provide you with parts and service agreements for your reconditioned machinery.
Our Equipment Reconditioning Process
Over the course of more than five decades in business, R.W. Martin has produced hundreds of reconditioned machines. Our experience allows us to tailor each reconditioning process to fit the unique budget and requirements for each client.
R.W. Martin starts every reconditioning job with an extensive inspection of the machine to establish a comprehensive scope of work. Our technicians then fully dismantle the piece of equipment, stripping, blasting, and cleaning parts and assemblies as needed. Next, we identify any broken or worn parts and either restore them to sound condition or replace them with new or reconditioned parts.
Once we complete these steps, we reassemble, rewire, and replumb the machine to match its like-new parameters. We then apply all safety labels and install all required safety guards before performing a full load test to ensure that the equipment is operating properly. To provide traceability, R.W. Martin documents the entire process for every machine we recondition.
Finally, after we ship the machine to its destination, one of our technicians will oversee its installation and start-up before training your staff on maintenance and proper operating and safety procedures.
